Xincodo is a handmade workshop creating Japanese-style goods, mainly focusing on the Shinsengumi and related historical themes. We also organize offline events and workshops.
We participate in the "Hino Shinsengumi Marche," held every third Sunday at Takahatafudo Station in Hino City. Note: We may not participate every month. Please check our official LINE or X for details. Our online shop is currently under construction—stay tuned for updates!
"Xincodo" was the name of my paternal grandfather's stamp shop. After his passing, I decided that if I ever opened a goods shop, I would honor him by using this name. We strive to bring a fresh breeze into tradition—please keep an eye on Shinkodo’s growth.
The owner values subtle "oshi-katsu" (fan activities). Traditional historical goods often lack character variety, featuring similar calligraphy and family crests, which can be a bit too distinctive for modern daily life. We design items that blend naturally into offices, schools, and home interiors—allowing stylish, discreet fan activities. By incorporating historical knowledge and trivia into chic, modern designs, we handle everything from concept to creation and deliver unique items to your hands.
Moreover, through workshops and offline events, we emphasize creating "encounters you've never seen before." While fostering a sense of community, we also introduce entirely new ways to enjoy history by fusing different materials.
